Pharmacy Library
One of the most essential needs of the University Department, if it was to become a real center of learning, is the development of its library. The Library has continuously been improved during this latest period, not only as a collection of books, but also as an instrument for the assistance of study and research.
Pharmacy Library is found after 4 years of the establishment of the Department with the collection of 1000 books. This was a good beginning, but nothing seems to have been done for a generation to augment it. In started it was in old campus and now it is shifted in new campus Off Defense road. Library is situated in the basement of the department on covering 18/20 area.
Library is fully air conditioned and according to our large strength of students its sitting capacity is 200. There are 4 sections in the library Reference Section, Serial Section, Electronic resources and General Reading area. For the faculty reading area is separated. LIMS software is using to cataloguing and circulation. Orientation is also organized for the new Students and staff.
Pharmacy Library has its collection in different types like books& Journals, in print material, CDs & DVDs. Besides all these we are searching new horizons to facilitate our readers through manual and electronic technologies.
